Pan Oasis brought residents together for a Mother's Day celebration on 20 May 2023. The event placed appreciation and family connection at the centre of a shared neighbourhood occasion.
Music and festive decoration accompanied the gathering. Food choices included chhole bhature, litti chokha, South Indian dishes and ice cream, with stalls adding other things for families to explore.
The celebration at Pan Oasis came a week after another Mother's Day gathering in the wider MyUtsav calendar. Its own setting and programme connected the occasion to the families living in this society, with music and festive decoration accompanying the event.
The food selection included litti chokha and chhole bhature as well as South Indian dishes and ice cream. Stalls added another part to explore around the gathering. The result was a family-focused occasion with different ways to spend time together, while appreciation for mothers remained the reason for bringing the community into the same space.
