A good society event gives residents a reason to meet, participate and enjoy their shared spaces. MyUtsav works with housing societies and resident groups on festivals, family carnivals and cultural celebrations in Noida and Greater Noida. Our archive includes Dandiya events from 2018, recurring Lohri and Diwali celebrations, Teej events and summer carnivals.
Is the priority a resident-led cultural evening, a family carnival, an occasion for children and parents, or a larger festive gathering? Agreeing on the purpose helps the RWA or organising committee decide what belongs in the plan. A short resident programme needs a different running order from an evening with several activity and vendor areas.
Follow an event link to see its venue and date, then tell us what you would like to bring to your own society. Returning committees can also share what residents enjoyed last time and what they would like to change.
Winter gatherings, spring colour celebrations, summer family events and the autumn festive season offer different ways to bring neighbours together. An annual shortlist can help the committee coordinate dates and make room for more than one kind of resident event. It does not need to mean a large event every month.
Explore an annual society calendar, then choose the occasions that suit your residents and shared spaces.
Ask which residents want to contribute, which activities children would enjoy and what older guests need to feel comfortable. Agree a main focus before adding stalls or entertainment. The programme should give people time to participate and to meet, rather than move them constantly between attractions. Name the people responsible for communication, venue access and on-the-day coordination so questions have a clear route.
After each occasion, note the space used, the activities people enjoyed and the practical points that need attention next time. Save suitable photographs with the event name and date, and keep the confirmed plan with the organising group. This helps an annual festival grow from actual community experience while leaving room for new residents, contributors and ideas in the following year.
Share your preferred date, society or workplace, city, approximate audience and the occasion. MyUtsav can discuss a suitable format and the next planning steps.
Talk to MyUtsav Browse events and past highlightsThe directory mainly covers residential communities and workplace locations, with different shared spaces listed for each. Depending on the location, these may include parks, clubhouses, common areas or other activity spaces. The listing helps you explore a setting, but it does not establish that every area is available for public or private hire. Share your occasion and guest needs, then confirm the particular space, access and facilities with the venue before proceeding.
Start with the people attending: their locality, approximate number, age groups and any access needs. Then consider the programme and the space it needs for seating, performances, food or activities. Browse the venue directory for relevant locations and send the coordinator the options you are considering. A useful shortlist should be followed by confirmation of the date, facilities, access, permitted use and full proposed arrangement.
Ask the coordinator whether a visit can be arranged with the venue's permission. Share the location, your preferred dates and the programme you are considering so the visit can focus on useful questions. Look at arrivals, seating, activity areas, toilets, setup access and the route guests will take through the space. A visit helps you picture the event, but the final availability and agreed facilities should still be confirmed separately.
We can discuss your brief and help identify questions to ask when comparing venue options. Explain the guest count, event activities, locality and budget priorities. Compare the complete proposed arrangement, including timings, available areas and facilities, rather than only a headline price. Pricing, contracts and final booking terms require the venue's confirmation. Any help with that process should be agreed as part of the event scope.
Amenities differ between properties and between spaces at the same property. Ask specifically about seating, power, toilets, parking, access, lighting and any equipment your programme needs. Confirm what the venue provides, what must be arranged separately and whether use is included in the proposed terms. Photographs and category labels are useful starting points, but they should not replace an event-specific conversation about facilities and availability.
Setup and logistics can be discussed as part of the proposed event support. Share the programme and identify the people responsible for venue access, equipment, seating, decoration, stalls and pack-up. Agree arrival times and the sequence of work so contributors can prepare without getting in one another's way. Confirm which tasks MyUtsav coordinates and which remain with the venue or other providers, then keep the working plan and contacts together.
Send the venue name, preferred date, timings and the kind of event you want to hold through the contact form. If another date or space could work, mention that too. The coordinator can discuss how to check the proposal with the venue. Availability may depend on the specific area, setup time and venue approvals as well as the calendar date, so treat the arrangement as confirmed only when those details are agreed.
Start with the venue's own requirements for the proposed occasion, including who can authorise the use of its space. Explain the programme clearly so any activity-specific questions can be identified early. Requirements involving public authorities or specialist advice should be checked with the relevant people. Agree any planning or coordination support with MyUtsav in advance and keep a record of the responsibilities; the venue listing alone does not confirm permissions.
Cancellation and refund arrangements depend on the written terms for the particular venue and booking. Before confirming, ask what happens if you cancel, change the date or reduce the scope, and check any deadlines or charges stated in the agreement. Keep the agreed terms with your booking information so the relevant contact can refer to them if plans change. A general FAQ does not replace those event-specific conditions.
Tell us the occasion, audience, date, locality and the atmosphere you would like to create. Include practical needs such as a stage, seated programme, children's area or space for stalls. The coordinator can discuss which community-event settings may suit that brief. A theme should work with the actual layout and facilities, so any shortlisted venue still needs confirmation of its available space, access and event arrangements.
Parking and guest transport need to be checked for the chosen location and event. Ask where visitors may park, how they reach the entrance and whether access arrangements differ for residents, guests and suppliers. Consider guests who may need a convenient drop-off point. If additional transport is required, discuss who will arrange it and include it explicitly in the scope; it should not be assumed to come with every venue listing.
